BJVR?

No idea what's happening with the RFU's appeal regarding his eligibility for England. Would be huge if successful as he's by and large been the best center in the PREM for a couple of years now.

So the RFU scheduled a meeting with WR that was due around the end of September. Could have been delayed or there could be deliberations. What I haven't heard (yet) is a definite, "no."

I hope it's successful, to be honest. Even if he doesn't play for England.

Status quo is that he's ineligible - so the only definitive answer to look for is a "yes" along with a newly opened can of worms.

That can really ought to remain firmly closed - not because he's not good enough for \England or not English enough, but applying rule changes retrospectively is never a good idea

Rumours on Social Media that Arundell will be in the squad announced on Sunday.

Tbh, based on the circumstances I wouldn't begrudge them changing the rule as it is ridiculously inconsistent and has affected players in similar situations disproportionately. Doesn't mean I want him for England, but I do feel it's harsh he suffers when others don't just because he was picked at the limited time the rule was in place.

IIRC they have changed the rule - RFU just want it applied retrospectively.
I always hated the rule, and am very glad it was changed - but it should be changed from this point forth; IMO

That's it in a nutshell.

Anyway, guess we will find out more in time.

I like Dingwall and would likely keep him in the EPS but I'm not sure I see him as a first choice starter - definitely a guy to keep up to speed to drop in when there's injuries etc. though
a glue kind of player
True.
Just watch this video to see the development that Borthwick wants.

Tom Willis has turned his back and is joining Bordeaux. He is expected to not be the Squad tomorrow despite having a central contract.
Article says Earl, Pollock, Dombrandt and Cunningham-South might benefit.

Nothing Caluori, get him in! To be that good in the air with that power and pace to go with it, looks sensational.

Cowan-Dickie might miss the Australia match after his 20 minute red card.
We'll probably go through the autumn with a George/Dan combo, but I'd love to see Oghre given a shot
I know there's concerns about his size but he's continued this season where he left off the last and is in very very good form

Be a bit of a wild ride for Dan being the only player to lose his central contract then gets back to starting tests again.

Bordeaux must be offering serious cash to wrestle Willis away from a central contract

Poor from him imo..I totally understood his brother's decision when he joined Toulouse after Wasps folding. But this feels very different.

The RFU and Steve Borthwick must be pretty annoyed.
