England tour of Argentina

So what side is everybody thinking we'll see on Sunday?

Something like this?

1 Ellis Genge
2 Rob Buchanan
3 Will Collier
4 Charlie Ewels
5 Will Spencer
6 Chris Robshaw
7 Sam Underhill
8 Mark Wilson / Beaumont

9 Danny Care
10 George Ford
11 Nathan Earle
12 Sam James
13 Joe Marchant
14 Johnny May
15 Mike Brown

Hopefully with the Curry twins on the bench too. That would be a decent enough line up for a BaaBaas game. I actually like Sam James and Marchant as centre partners too

I really like the look of this pack: agile, aggressive, mobile and determined.

Would like to see

2. Buchanan V Brits
3. Schonert V Nel
4. Ewels V Albacete
5. Beaumont V Thrush
6. Robshaw V Armitage
7. Underhill V Dusautoir
8. Wilson V Isa
9. Care V Pienaar
10. Ford V Madigan
11. May V Nagusa
12. James V Steyn
13. Marchant V Smith
14. Yarde V Nayacalevu
15. Brown V AAC

16. Singleton V Hibbard

19. Isiekwe V Tekori
20. Ellis V Galan
21. Wigglesworth V Fotuali'i
22. Lozowski V Freuan/David
23. Earle/Haley V Agulla

that should be a big test for this England group.

Marchant and Hill out of the tour now.....dropping like flies.

That Baabaas team is much stronger on paper than this piecemeal England side.

They'll still find a way to lose,
Barbarians players are just there for the beer and the fat pay cheques

so one of
Schonert/Ford-Robinson/Collier to replace Hill?
and
Thompkins to replace Marchant?

Collier is already in the squad for Argentina.

Ford-Robinson has apparently impressed in training and as he's probably a more impactful 'finisher', I think he'll have the edge over Schonert.

I'd guess Marchant's replacement is a shoot-out between Tompkins and Devoto.

I'd probably go for Devoto on the basis that he and Slade are used to playing together which would be useful in an inexperienced, cobbled-together group.

Alex Goode called up to Barbarians squad.

I'm confused, is this the young fullback type Alex Goode, or the older first five stocky bloke with the kinda comb over looking haircut and mutton chop sideburns?
Or has the old guy retired?
Wasn't he playing Super 12 last year?
Anyway, please clear that up for me.

I mean they do have different names.... :p

I'm hearing Denny might make the tour, progressing well in his rehab but will need to pass England's tests
Also hearing Haley is going really well in training and could yet tour.
