Roos was THE SA break out player last season but hasn't been able to reach the same heights this year. Very much a ball carrier. Stormers use him in lieu of a DDA in the midfield. That said I am happy for him to gain the exposure. Orie I wouldn't even start at the Stormers. His continued selection for the Bokke in behind the usuals baffles. If England put forward a halfway decent team they should be winning it at home. Orie might as well not be there. I'd much rather have had Mostert at lock, Deon Fourie and Kwagga in at 7 and 8 with Roos and Nortje on the bench. Kolisi-Mostert-Roos is a head-scratcher as far as loose trio combinations go. In the backs, start Libbok at 10, Willemse at 12 and DDA 13 and I'd have been a happy man despite the weird pack selections. All in all the selections feel a bit like barrel scraping TBH. Really hope Libbok comes on early. Its not just the attacking dimensio he brings and general kicking. I fully expect that we will be needing to land our kicks at goal. Willemse isn't going to give us that whilst Libbok lands clutch kicks for the Stormers week in and week out. I suppose end of season and outside of the test window whilst carrying a few injuries will do that so I suppose it could've looked worse.
