It's beyond maddening, he's been the best player on the pitch in several tests and gets brought off at 60 despite zero mistakes, no injuries and absolutely no sign of slowing down. He's Grond in human form but apparently we don't need a battering ram in the last quarter because we always do so well there.

At this stage of his career he's very much nuts and bolts. Very dependable in the set peice. I still think he'd have done a hell of a job as a #2 to Sheehan on the Lion's tour.

Depends if the injury was directly as a result of the tackle or an awkward landing. I think it's the landing that caused the injury.
