England vs New Zealand - 15/11/2025

Cracking 2nd half by england, i had them as slight favourites before the game, but that really was a powerful dominant display i thought.

Those can only be written by someone who doesn’t understand rugby.

What planet are these ***** on
Blamed him and George for the line outs,

‘The line-out is a multi-man operation, but it is the hooker's responsibility and thus George shoulders blame for its complete implosion.’

‘Like George, it is hard to look past how much of a calamity the line-out was and Itoje was twice pinged. Spoilt an otherwise excellent performance.’

'Fully deserved his try after doing so much dirty work chasing high balls, which he did superbly. Feels like he has quietly become an integral part of this team.'
He took his try well, did some things well, but also got caught out a number of times getting pulled in. I wouldn’t have given him more than a 6

Overheard at Twickenham today before kickoff; "Ford's day is done for England."
ha yeah I mean it's a poor take given the result but it's true insofar as if he doesn't make it to a world cup then it's all wasted time really. Although some would certainly say these games matter in their own right and getting a win like today is worth it - I basically agree with that, although I do think in the six nations we should be looking to the fduture, to use the cliche.

On a side note - Ford must have one of the highest success rates at drop goals foro enlgnad - infinitely higher than Farrell, Hodgson, all these guys. Probably comparable with Wilkinson. It's easy to forget that for the last two decades a dropgoal attempt you just assumed would miss and Ford has to his credit inverted that

Steward did some good things and then went off with a HIA? I know he didn't play long but 5 still seems harsh. Maybe i missed some things

Roebuck usual classy game for him but his pace gots exposed a couple of times.

I'd say Earl should have been 8, even with the YC.

Fair play to Borthwick he obv sees something in Dingwall and stuck with him and give him a few games to build form and he played well. Not sure he will continue as full first choice but a solid reliable back up at very least.

To be fair, Dingwall and Lawrence worked very well together today, interchanging between 12 & 13.

I still think that's an area Borthwick and Blackett will be looking at, but you can't complain with beating the AB's ...so there's a good base to start with.
