Scarlets v Bath Rugby - 19.45, BT Sport, BeIN Sport

Saturday 21/10/17

Benetton v Toulon - 16.15 (Local Time), BT Sport, BeIN Sport

Big game for Scarlets after pushing Toulon so close in the south of France. Short turn around was always going to be tough, but Scarlets simply must win if they're to get out of the group.

also c'mon Treviso!

I worry about the game vs Scarlets. Bath have this annoying habit of just giving possession away freely and then trying to soak up the attack. Teams like Scarlets will find the gaps and beat the defence. I will really be ****** off if once again we do the midless kicking every time we get the ball. Players like Watson and JJ just aren't getting a chance to show what they can do in space because Bath aren't giving them any!

Tadhg Beirne at 8? Is this a thing?

Scarlets really have to win this one if they are going to compete in this competition. Losing your home games is a no-go, especially in this group. I think they have enough to do it. They are a very balanced side, who have been lucky not to have too many major injuries at the start of the season. Win by 5 points...

Some tasty individual battles in the backlines - Watson vs Halfpenny; JJ vs Davies; Prestland vs Patchell.
I'm thinking this could be the match-up of the round. Pity it's being played on a Friday night though - never conducive to a good match.

a position Scarlets have no depth in. Even Barclay their first choice isn't a genuine 8. Moriarty heavily linked for next season, rumoured to be a done deal due to be announced during the ai's. We'll see. Needs must with regard to Beirne.

Cracking try Steff Evans watching on the box whilst listen to the pro Bath 5 live commentator (didn't catch his name but it could be dipstick)

Weather is really spoiling this the try asside. Was always going to go this way but still. Beirne is looking great again. The ref for the Scarlets game last week pinged both sides for not rolling away while their teammate was over the ball winning it (is often given the other way). I've seen it not pinged once or twice here so I hope it's something they've been told to look out for.
