Well I can always take the 13th off and make it a nice German weekend.
Are there any sighseeing oppurtunities you could recommand in Hannover and/or surroundings?

But I think if you like beer you will need the 13th for your hangover. Cause there is the biggest "Schützenfest" (like Oktoberfest) worldwide, only 50meters from the stadium.
You can visit Hameln, the "Pied Piper" Town, it is only 45 km or Celle same distance both with nice medieval old towns.
