What would happen if a side is given a free kick and they kick it directly into touch? What should the ref's call be?

That's not the call...I'm just very easily influenced by commercials I see on tv.
Anyway...a free kick kicked directly into touch? How's about calling it 'you idiot, this isn't England! Run with the freakin' ball and score a bloody try!'
Otherwise, I have no idea.

It's just like any other kick, AFAIK... Inside the 22, lineout from where it went out, outside 22, lineout from where it was kicked from.

I once told an opposition fly-half they could kick the ball straight out from a free kick and laughed in his face when he did it and the lineout took place back where he kicked it.
