Game problem

I have a Ati Radeon 9600 256mb and use 1600 x 1200 works very good but screen is a little to much like going from a wide screen to a narrow screen but rather use 800 x 600 more of a view

I was told that an X600 was very good and would play any game I wanted but the one you have sounds way better
