Gareth Thomas (captain of Wales) out for 3 months

Alfie will be out of rugby for about 3 months as a result of the head pains he has been having. It wasn't really reported, but 6 weeks or so ago he came off after a game for Toulouse and had to have an xray as he had sever head pain and thought he had broken his jaw in a collision.

Now these head pains have come back and there is concern about his well being. He will be havinf brain CT scans over the coming days and I hope to god he is alright.

It has not been released yet, but I would expect it to be some time soon.

BBC are saying it's damage to an artery in his neck and that he'll be out of action for 10-12 weeks, type of injury that will infuriate him as much as anything.
