So indifferent starts to the season for boths sides as they sit mid table on the eve of their Heineken Cup campaigns.

Gloucester once again seem to be building themselves up for a fall already touting their credentials as potential winners and making comparisons between themselves and Munster. The nearly men of Gloucester have not even come close to achieving what Munster did before they lifted the cup in 2006 so Tindall not for the first time is off the mark with that analogy, they only have to look at their opponents who indeed are the nearly men of Europe and will be looking for a positive start to their campaign and if they click they're more than capable of getting a win in England as they've proven so often in the past.

Given the opposition in this pool both sides should be looking to qualify as they'll more than likely have 5 wins each so the bonus points will prove crucial in determining the winner and that so coveted home quarter final.

If Glaws harbour serious thoughts of doing well in the HEC this year then they need to lay down a marker and not only win this but win it well.

Glaws have plenty of tries in them and I reckon they may just carve Biarittz up *IF* they can avoid being dragged into an attritional battle.

Agreed... Gloucester have a real sharp look to them for this match. Think that axis of Lamb, Barkley and Tindall will create plenty of space for JSD, Balshaw and Morgan to really stretch their legs.

Don't like the idea of Strok playing 7, but I suppose our options are a bit limited at this point, as Qera is still out and Hazell is a bit lightweight apparently. Too bad about Forrester, he offered so much potential. Really hope he is offered some sort of position within the club.

Seems like no-one cares but Gloucester won 22 - 10 in a snorefest (or that's what it seemed like from my point of view: the computer screen, facing away from the tv <_<.)

Not a snorefest. Didn't see Sale in action, but this was best match so far. And best atmosphere.

Traille fcuked up with the kicking more than Lamb - that was the difference.

Simpson Daniel has muscled up. But Tait tried that as well, didn't he?
