Reigning champions Leicester Tigers will begin the defence of their Guinness Premiership ***le with a tough trip to the Memorial Ground to play Bristol Rugby. Bristol beat Tigers by 30-13 when they met just over two months ago, in a delayed round 21 match, played on Tuesday 24th April 2007.

So the first week fixtures look like this with the usual double header at Twickenham

Round One fixtures - weekend of 15/16 September:

Bath Rugby v Worcester Warriors
Bristol Rugby v Leicester Tigers
Harlequins v London Irish
Leeds Carnegie v Gloucester Rugby
London Wasps v Saracens
Newcastle Falcons v Sale Sharks

Well I would of liked to have seen it at Wembley but to be honest Twickenham have just increased size so its only fair to hold it there...

Why the hell would you want to hold a RUGBY double headder in an oversized FOOTBALL GROUND, which you'd have to rent off the FA for an extorsionate fee and wouldn't have nearly as good an atmosphere, when you already own an 80,000+ seater staduim which won't get filled up anyway?

Cos I would like to see a whole Weekend of fixtures played, so 3 games on Saturday 3 on Sunday...
