Halo 3 - EXP Problems

All day yesterday from 11 onwards, I had the odd game here and there on Halo 3, various match types and enjoyed them but I found that I wasn't earning EXP for some reason and neither was my mate, its probably down to the maintenance update but was just wondering if anyone else here experienced that problem?

They know about it, it appears to be a general Xbox Live thing (other games on Xbox Live are having similar problems), there's no guarantee you'll get your EXP retroactively (but they are working on it).

Considering Xbox Live is still hiccuping people offline (myself included), i'm guessing the planned maintenance didn't go quite to plan.
