The ERC have confirmed that Nigel Owens will referee the final between Leinster and Leicester.

Would have thought that Berdos was a shoe in given he's reffing one of the Lions tests and didn't even have a Six Nations match.

George Clancy will ref the Challenge Cup Final between Bourgoin and Northampton.

He'll ref Leinster out of the game for their despicable out-playing of his favourites in the semi.

Ah well, they had a good run...

well he's been against us in the quarters and the semis, just more of the same if he's against us in the final.

Yeah, right. Like Owens has ever not been biased against the English team... Leicester are fooked.

favoured Quins and Gloucester the last time he reffed them so I won't be surprised to see him favour Leicester this time round.

That's a matter of opinion.

Either way, it's certain with Owens at the helm that a decent flowing game of rugby will not be allowed to happen. He'll spend the full 80 with the whistle in his mouth.

Wishing it was Lee Byrnes 'whistle', most likely...
