No Lowe but looks like VDF and Baird will be back as well as Ngatai being a possibility.

darn. Hope Leinster win and lowe is available for the final. Toulouse looking pretty strong though, this is clearly the real final.

We have never beaten La Rochelle, they'll want us.

Anyway, for some arousal this Friday afternoon I present, the greatest ever Heineken Cup try.

Both home teams to win after tight first 60 in both matches.
As a neutral 2 good matches please.

Exeter Chiefs team news

Exeter Chiefs: 15. Tom Wyatt, 14. Jack Nowell (c), 13. Henry Slade, 12. Sean O'Brien, 11. Olly Woodburn, 10. Joe Simmonds, 9. Will Becconsall, 1. Scott Sio, 2. Dan Frost, 3. Marcus Street, 4. Jannes Kirsten, 5. Jonny Gray, 6. Jacques Vermeulen, 7. Christ Tshiunza, 8. Sam Simmonds.

Replacements: 16. Jack Yeandle, 17. Nika Abuladze, 18. Josh Iosefa-Scott, 19. Aidon Davis, 20. Dave Ewers, 21. Stu Townsend, 22. Harvey Skinner, 23. Stuart Hogg

So whilst im not overlyconfident we will win this, tbh La Rochelle are heavy favourites but im happy with that squad.

Good to see Kirsten Vermulen and Ewers in the 23 to add some bulk. Seen as this is the only thing left to play for then hopfully the players are fired up, especially the leavers.

So strange we've gone from comfortably beating them home and away to being the biggest underdog since Pipsqueak Peter squared up to Barry the Boulder in year 8 behind the Cricket Pavillion

Sorry help me out here, I have a COVID brain at the moment so might be missing something or failing to remember something, but Who beat whom home and away?

How's SOB 3.0 getting on? Thought his time with you guys had been a bit of a write off but seeing now that he's starting here and for a while. Is it the result of injuries that he's getting this time or have things just clicked for him?

After our loss to Bath a few weeks ago Baxter said he was going to shake things up a bit and switch out a few players. One of the changes was bringing in SOB at 12, and he's played very well since. Just a case him getting a chance and taking it well.
