Just a quick question really, this pre season i brought some Adidas Kakari (last years sales ones with the orange lines on the heel). After the first game they have rubbed massive blister into the heels on both feet.

I gave it a week (to let the blisters heel) and then tried them for the second game...same thing.

Everytime i wear them they rub massivly on the heel. (4 games and some training sessions now).

So....does anyone else have this problem? Should i go and by another pair of boots or do you think these will wear in?

I've never had this problem before but usually get the misuno boots, i love the rest of the boot just no the blistering heel part!!!

Cheers

Ar you wearing proper rugby socks? if your heal isn't covered pretty much all rugby boots will do that.

Different companies shoes fit slightly differently to each other, sometimes quite significantly.
Blisters are almost always caused by shoes being too big.
Try wearing some thick socks underneath your rugby socks, this will take up any space between your heel and the boot.

Thanks for both responses, i have been wearing proper rugby socks (our club socks) but they have changed since last season.

I'll try playing this weekend with double socks and take old boots are spares just incase they do destroy me again.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I wear socks under socks if its a really hot day and I'm playing on grass, never had a blister that way but it's a pain to have to put them on.

If your boots are the right size for your feet, then it could be because you didn't tighten your laces enough. You need to make sure that your boot doesn't move around when you run

Cheers guys, i've noticed my feet to move around at the heel but they fit eveyrwhere else so maybe i'm not jsut an adidas fit! Ar well i'll go and get more another pair of boots!!!

Anyone want to buy a pair of adidas boots, brilliant fitting..honest!
