We're just passed half in the Super 14 season and again 3 of the bottom 4 spots are occupied by South African teams. The Lions, Cheetahs and especially the Stormers have been very disappointing so far. Both Rassie and Eloff promised big things this season, while Drotske said he'll try his best with the lack of resources and terrible draw the Central franchise were facing. Eloff needs to move on imo, he has spoken of a 3 year plan and has failed to deliver.

The Stormers will never get anyway unless they get a proper frontrow. Their current frontrow would be average in the Vodacom Cup, maybe a bit better at Varsity Cup level. Rassie needs to get rid of some loose forwards and get a decent loosehead. Heinke van der Merwe preferrably.

It could be worse though, we have 2 teams in the top 4 with most of their remaining games at home and both being serious title contenders. But can't we be a bit luke warm? Just at least one team sitting cozy in the middle, aka the Stormers destiny  ;)

Well all the games that the Stormers have lost, they have lost by 7 or less. The Lions are a bit like France, in the sense that they blow hot and cold. The Lions just keep getting their players poached, the Cheetah's are also in a similar scenario. The Stormers don't have an excuse. They should have done much better considering how they finished so strongly last year.
