Hi there my friends across the pond. Just curious. Do they show the D1 stuff on TV? Do Esher, the Cornish Pirates and Waterloo ever get television time?

well, only a small round up on a weekly rugby programme on sky sports,

and maybe if they make it to twickenham for a cup/shield final they will, but never their domestic games

They get as much airtime as say, the NFL does in Bhutan. Which is a big fat ZERO. I think one of the spanish national team scrum halves plays for waterloo, so perhaps they might have something on spanish tv, but that'd be huge odds.

Yeah they won't get any coverage until the RFU, Sky and the people who represent ND1 working with Premier Rugby start taking the whole thing seriously.

With this whole professional revamp thats in the works (the whole plan to make ND1 into the "Championship" with twelve professional teams and a major league sponsor) maybe you'll start seeing a few matches screened live or highlighted.
