How do you do?

It's the first time to see you.
I am Akihiro, and I enjoy rugby in Japan.
I would like to study rugby more by using this rugby forum.
So, I have two questions here.
(1) How do you use this rugby forum?
(2) What is the 'safety lead'? In Japan, Mr. Yokoi, a captain of the national team which defeated All Blacks Junior in 1968, says 'safety lead is 29 point.' The lead means our score minus rival's score. If the lead score is above 29, our team will win, he says. Is 29 point enough to win? And, what is the same concept as 'safety lead' in English native countries?

You should never really let up because any team could fight back like Wales in the 6N this year. But 29 is a a hard comeback if that makes any sense.

Thank you all, I am glad to be here.

Hi, lynam1104.
Yes. I wonder whether 29 point score advantage makes any sense.
Yokoi Akira's blog is here, but written in Japanese. (It seems to be hard to read for English speakers)

Yesterday, he ends up the discussion about his '29 point theory'.
From your comment, I guess that 'safety lead' is a unique theory in Japan.

Singapore! My friend, Kazuto, played in Bedok Kings last year. (He is now in Japan.)

Hi, alexrugby.
I am happy to hear that you are fine.
I am doing hard working to finish my master thesis of economics.
I should have not entered the graduate school because this work is tough.
I started rugby when I am a freshman.
I was not a good player during my undergraduate days.
I am now coaching my university's team as an alumni of the team.
My coaching activities give myself various views which I could not see as a player.
And now I study rugby.
