Yeah I understand that there's lots of laws - a game can't put them all in and they definitely wouldn't put this in.

Do you mean how to decline a conversion kick attempt, following a try?

If so, you can't. But you can opt to do a "quick kick" in 7's mode by pressing X (I think) at the right time when prompted.

With 45 seconds left to play in the RWC final, having just scored a try to move 4 points behind, it sounds like a +EV decision to me.

if they had in-goal laws correct as well as touch laws correct i'd be all for having the option to turn down the conversion... but it is way down on my wish list of things that need to be fixed law wise to make the game playable

I wasn't saying that it's a priority to fix, just explaining why it could be desirable to be able to do so.
