How to "unlock" the B&I Lions Tour in Rugby08

So annoying, when it gets to the choose tour screen no matter which one I click my game crashes- what do i need to do?!

I placed it into the rugby 08 directory but it dosent seem to change the game at all... whereabouts is the tour supposed to appear and how do I get it there?

To enable the Lions and the Lions Tour, basically the text must be fixed in dc.english (because the s14 lions text seems to there twice and one of them masks out the lions text) then you must add the value 'yes' in the be29.xml this enables the teams to be active. then to unlock the lions tour mode, you must add the .rfe file from 06 into 08 and it works, but changes some menu layouts.

Then you must add the files (kits, ball, flags etc)

So basically you need just 3 files (shortened names btw)

- dc.english (not dc.xml)
- be29.xml
- .rfe file from 06.

So if someone is going to make a pack, it needs these 3 files and the kit, ball and flags.. but they are in the game, from the 2005 tour.[/b]

Yeah I think you still need the Lions kits.Check either in Fa'atau or Uli's threads for the new kits or on my filefront page for the old 2005 kits or wait and I'll give you a link when I get home...

You guys are legends.

A few questions though, what exactly do I need to run this mod? I haven't installed any previous patches/mods apart from using Woosah's roster editor. Do I need to edit any files or use any existing mods for these to work?

Oh, and do you only play as the Lions? And are they touring SA or NZ?

HERE you go, its a profile with the things unlocked.

And I know what to change in the .pro file with a hex editor to unlock the representative teams and for you to control the home team in the Lions Tour

If you open the .pro file with a hex editor you need to change that byte thats highlighted from "40"(or sometimes its "42") to a "47".
I have also tried to do it with 08 but I could not get the same byte to change but hopefully you will be able to figure something out.

I've managed to change the same byte to make it the exact same symbol, but that hasn't changed the home team availability in the 08 lions tour.
