Great player. True grunt. I thought the Rebels would do well to sign him but I suppose the Reds could also use him as a hard nosed flanker to add some grunt and balance to your pace game. No idea what his contract looks like but it would be good to see him in action again.

I'm not sure Blindside is covered for the Reds, and Hugh doesn't make the best openside.

His contract with Kubota will expire this year.

I hope he comes back to the Reds, maybe we could put Higginbotham back at 8 and McMeniman at 6.

I think he is on a two year deal and he just left last year because remember the ARU wouldn't let him play for the Reds when they had all the second row loses and he was free to play because the Japanese season had not started. They are putting Samo in the flankers according to all press I've read. Horwel and VH are the locks with Simmons on the bench. They are saying Samo at 6, Gill at 7, and Higgs at 8. I don't think Gill is ready for 7 but they let Tasi go which was a huge mistake after he filled in so well for Croft two years ago and Won the game against the Highlanders last year. I though Jake S. would be back and in front of Gill at 7 but maybe his foot is still not right.

P.s. Woldog did you do your signature? If so can you do one for me? I wanted the picture the QRU sent out in an email for the Trail against the Crusaders with Genia and Ant Faingaa if you can find that if not anything would be cooler than the nothing I have now.
