They seem like a great place to work, think they dole out bonuses twice a year (end of financial year and Christmas?), for everyone right down to the 16yr old doing 4hrs on a Saturday
Pretty sure I saw that they employ more people, and bring more money into the country, than the entire fishing industry

Would imagine once the Amazon TV/Movie deal kicks in they're going to go even crazier too

I never got too much into Warhammer/40k itself (in terms of miniatures - always loved the games) but back when they started doing the LOTR tie in I was an absolute fiend for it - got the Two Towers starter set for Christmas when that came out and was completely hooked

I painted the figure when I was a kid, but never really got into the gaming proper. Tried a couple of times but just ended up messing about.

Although Space Hulk is THE best 'board' game I've played.

Does this include 40k?
It's Geek Pride; so if the cap fits...

25th May is chosen due to the overlap of 3 events; Star Wars initial release, Douglas Adams' death (celebrated 2 weeks later to allow time for friends and family) and the Glorious Revolution of Treacle Mine Rd - where Sir Pterry just want something that sounds... ordinary.
But it's all of geekdom - and I keep editting my original (didn't originally have the lightsabers, as I'm not really a star wars buff); but there's only so much I can include in 1 picture.
Gotta have Star Wars, H2G2 and STP (GNU) - and have now added a Norwegian Blue - given that we're in mourning.
No room for a chess piece, a sorting hat, and fleet command icon, a golden ring, an alaethiometer, 2 different types of phone box, a sword in a stone... etc etc etc.
If anywhere else in the geekiverse has a specific pull for 25th May, I'll happily include though.

Are you unsure if people who play 40K are geeks?

On that topic, I saw GW shared 20M with its staff. Good eggs.
Maybe....

Gamed when I was younger but still an avid reader of the books and lore etc

Massive in the US one of Nottingham's few success stories

Gotta get a hard boiled egg in there somehow WT

You have to be selective in which ones you read. There are some great ones in there.
Really enjoyed Horus Rising, A Thousand Sons, Prospero Burns, Vengeful Spirit and Legion.

I've had The First Heretic and Betrayer strongly recommended, but haven't gotten around to them yet

I must be getting old, this entire thread seems to be in a different language.

However I do remember queuing up to see the original Star wars with the school rugby team when it came out.
