Ireland Squad Summer tour

Three Ulster lads as panelists is weird but doubt they're out of the running for game time.

Not a great sign for Henshaw's fitness. Surprised Hodnett isn't involved.

Had forgotten how much P. McCarthy and Smyth seem to be rated. This staff absolutely do back young lads but are obviously particular about certain traits.

Delighted Henshaw isn't there. He needs a summer off. Hopefully this is to him what 2021 was to Johnny.

Has Casey captained Munster?

Eitherway I'm very happy with the squad

Diarmuid Kilgallen, Evan O'Connell and Gleeson linking up as training panellists. McNabney has done his ACL by the sounds of it.

Shame for McNabney off the back of a nice season. Excited for O'Connell and Gleeson though

I know he's holding bags but some turnaround for Kilgallen from released by Connacht to being in the Irish squad within a year. And he was injured for a good bit of that too.

Josh Murphy called in to provide cover for Tom Aherne whilst he manages a hamstring injury before the squad departs Wednesday.

Scott Wilson has been called up, presumably to the delight of reddit.

Cian Prendergast back available for Portugal.

Stockdale gone home due to injury. Scott Wilson also gone home but not entirely clear if that is due to injury.
