Ireland v Australia - 30 November 2024

Keenan had a strip called as a knock on 5m from the line in the first half. Two wrongs don't make a right but probably not one sided.

That's a soft penalty call.

Swear Wright has had a nosebleed the entire AIs, always got his nostrils stuffed with cotton

This has been poor. Would seriously wonder if we are on decline a bit.
Was that not obvious 4 weeks ago?

Prendergast is a strange one - doing grand in the physicality stakes defensively - but he's no confidence in running the ball into contact.
If the defence knows you are never running it, they are gonna spread. Call it Ross Byrne syndrome!

Feels a bit 2020 / 21. Attack just not clicking at all.

Lineout is chronic and has been for 1.5 years too.

Aussie backrow killing us. Really need Izuchukwu or someone to add pace and energy.

Small problems leading to big results I feel.

Feel like that was a time to take points. We're just not scoring 1 in three from the corner rn.

Yeah I think today shows Sam Prendergast isn't quite ready yet. But not his fault either. Alot of players have been very bad. And our attack and set piece are a worry in a big way now.
And POC expected for Lions forwards

I thought Prendo did great tbh. Spread the ball so well and created a lot that just went to shite outside him.

Crowley also a great impact. Good spot at 10 a year out from Johnny.

Difficult to watch this, ref is very uncomfortable, Aus getting very lucky at breakdown IMHO...

Irelands problems are small, lineout hiccuping, kicking out of hand not great, and they can't seem to generate speed of ruck.

I turned on at half time, Aus have held on for dear life since 40, I havnt seen 3 phases from aus all half
