Agreed. The first 30 minutes were all Italy. That’s why Rassie hooked off half the team.
Italy should have been up double digits before the Boks got their first points.
Kolisi, Arendse and Willemse would be in the 1st choice starting 15. Louw on the bench would probably start although it has looked like they prefer him on the bench and start Du Toit on the tight head. Our bench wouldn't really look different.
Our best team is probably ;
1 Nche though he is injured
2 Marx
3 T Du Toit
4 Etzebeth
5 Nortje / De Jager (ban)
6 Kolisi
7 PS Du Toit
8 Wiese (or Hanekom if uninjured but I believe Wiese has now firmly cemented himself as no1)
9 Reinach (doesn't really matter as we have a couple good 9s but none of ours would even bench for the other top teams)

13 Kriel (probably)

World Rugby is now considering banning Red Cards as it seems to favour the Springboks who are consistently able to play for in excess of 40 minutes and still win the game. Some other well known ex-international pundits have also weighed in saying:- playing with 14 or 13 players for so much of a match and winning is just not in the spirit of the game.
