Lawrence Dallaglio
Jonny Wilkinson
Jason Robinson
SCW
George Gregan
BOD
Gareth Thomas
Geech
Francois Pienaar
Sean Fitzpatrick
Michael Lynagh
David Flatman

Certainly an improvement on the past couple!

Yup but the bar was set pretty low...any word on commentary teams...Phil Vickery was probably the most boring man alive last RWC

... and it's quite the list!

Lawrence Dallaglio OK but will talk about any Wasp player to much
Jonny Wilkinson Dull...sorry he is
Jason Robinson Not sure
SCW as long as he gets punched everytime he mentions 2003.
George Gregan interesting
BOD oh dear great player crap pundit
Gareth Thomas Ok
Geech Good
Francois Pienaar OK
Sean Fitzpatrick Excellent
Michael Lynagh Excellent
David Flatman Like Dayglo but swap Wasps for Bath

Certainly an improvement on the past couple!

Done

So bit of a combo from Sky / BT Sport then.

Really happy with that, apart from Flatman.
Would've liked to have seen Greenwood in there, though. Think he's excellent.

Big fan of Healy but probably a bit....serious? for his style. He commentates like a mate down the clubhouse who knows his stuff rather than prime time tv.

Why do you dislike Flatman?

he thinks he's hilarious when he's actually really not, when you couple that with his over excitement at anything the fatboys do and there is not really much left to like.

Shame because when he was just doing the interventional analysis for sky he was pretty decent...

Missing out Moore is pretty mental.
It's not even like they're snubbing the BBC lot with that oaf inverdale there.

Not sure how he's too controversial.
He's honest, and tells it like it is. Maybe itv don't want that?
They'd rather someone say a side was off their game/gallant losers when dropping 100pts vs the All Blacks, than saying they simply weren't up to it.

Can't stand dalslalalaagliol!! If there was ever a bore it is him ! Flatman is a pretty good analyst but did not realise he is now commentating too!

One can only hope Dewi is not included on the commentating team!!

Lots of people don't like Moore as they feel he's horribly biased towards the English. They are of course wrong when compared to the likes of Butler (who actually admitted the French man dropped the ball in their try...Most surprising television ever) or Jiffy.

However fact remains some people just don't like someone who wants to see the game played properly and has a great understanding of what's going on scrum time.

More can be England's biggest critical aswell, it's a big mistake leaving him out.
Would love to have seen, Healey, kay and greenwood.
I think Greenwood is the best pundit out there.
Healey and kay like someone said in an earlier post, very knowledgeable but put across like mates having a pint watching the game

Back in 2011 on Talksport, Moore got paired up with an utterly clueless anchor in Mark Saggers (who suggested England bring on Hape in the quarter final even thoug he wasn't in the 22) and nearly swore at him. Perhaps that worried some overly cautious TV people. A shame as the last thing anyone wants is someone just trotting out lame platitude riven drivel.

Also Gareth Thomas is an awful choice. He's not particularly articulate and ill suited to media work.

Oh I agree it's why people are wrong when they think Moore is biased. All people see pundit from one nation don't listen to any criticism they have of that nation or calls they make against them see them do it for their nation and scream bias. Even Jiffy this 6 nations was relatively balanced happy to rag on Wales when they played poorly and admit most of Saturday was the complete implosion of the Italian team. However everyone will forget that the next time he drones on about how great Wales are...

Seems likely a top heavy group. I would rather having one individual from each nation competing and then a 'core' group of pundits. Getting some tier 2 pundits would be great.
