hey guys,
since i posted the semi-final scores so i may as well post the final scores up
Teikyo University 41 - 34 Waseda University
i was there just to say and Teikyo University's won their fifth straight collegiate championship win today. Waseda started the game off with two early tries but Teikyo managed to fight back and ending the half 12 - 10 in front. In the second half waseda started the second half with a poor start as they conceded another 22 points in the first 16 minutes off the second half. Waseda did fight back and ended up 5 points away from Teikyo. But Teikyo next try meant that there were no chance of Waseda coming back. But Waseda did end the game with one last try on the final whistle but it wasn't enough to win the game.
im glad to be in the 50th tournament, but it was sad with the fact that it was the last final played at the national stadium as it is getting demolished to build a new stadium preparing for the 2019 rugby world cup in japan.
