Harlequins vs London Irish vs Saracens vs London Wasps

Have to say I'm looking forward to this a lot more than last year as the teams are putting a lot more first team players in their sides as opposed to last year when it was mostly academy and/or drafted in specialists.

For example the Not Nots are putting out:
1. Alex Gray
2. Chris Hala'Ufia
3. Shane Geraghty
4. Tom Homer
5. Topsy Ojo
6. Michael Worrincy
7. Gerard Ellis
8. Darren Allinson
9. Steven Shingler
10. Tomás O'Leary
11. Conor Gaston
12. Sailosi Tagicakibau (Captain)

Will interesting to see how TOL gets on playing 7s!

I'd imagine he'd be quite good. He's quite a good physical specimen, pretty quick and strong. In fact there a quite a few people down south who think that O'Leary was a natural full back who was shoehorned into the 9 jersey, which would be quite a shame if true.

I'm a little surprised Irish went for Tom Homer in the side - he's an excellent kicker, but that's really needed too much in 7s. Should've had Watson or Yarde in there, they'd be quality with the space available in 7s, though they're probably being rested after being with England age grade.

Pretty strong looking Irish side with the likes of Ojo and Tagicakibau in there. Be interesting to see the other squads, especially if Quins have speedsters like Chisholm and Steggman playing again.

The other squads for this round have been released - ill copy them across when I get home if no one else has (they're on the teams websites)
The others have a lot of premiership players as well, e.g. Quins have Skinner in there

Gerard Ellis is another Welshman gone to Reading PIs. Technically four Welsh players in that side! (Worrincy is WQ as well I think)

Yes, his brother played for Wales in rugby league.

Group B a week later, did anybody watch it and notice how Espn came on late missing the first match and half the second? The Exiles started slow and took over!
