Rugby League Live is to be released in November and apparently they have made some great additions to the kicking options available.

They have reintroduced the up and under but with options of angling the kick to the wings. They have also added the option to do a chip and gather kick which is not always successful. It is more successful when the fullback has been taken out of play. The bounce of the ball is also variable. The grubber kick is also a kick which needs some tweaking from Rugby 08.

It would be great if HB Studios could add variable kicks to the game. Players with more skill would obviously be more succesful.

This is going a bit far but I would love to see the Carlos Spencer "Banana Kick".

trust me "Rugby League Live" is not worth buying .

It's worth buying if your into League and union (mostly league) other than that stay away.

Anyways be cool if you could punt the ball (say holding O on PS3 of course) and hold R1 or L1 to add curve to the ball (left or right, duh).

Also holding Square for up and under and tapping it for the chip over the top should be a definite

Annnddd chucking in the grubber again with Triangle or double tap Triangle for a stab kick would be mean (think Aaron Cruden)

Annnnnd who can forget the stupid drop goal that needs to be in there

I like the square button idea for the chip (tapping it or holding it in), great idea!
The Rugby 06 version of the drop kick should be reinstalled!

Definitely agree that the Rugby 06 drop goals were the best! too short though most decent first-fives can kick them from 40m plus

There needs to be more kicking variations for the half-back, we see alot of this in rugby today everything from an up-and-under to a drop-goal.

Has there ever been a chip over the defender in the EA Rugby series?
