The Lee Williams try should never have happened, it resulted from a Welsh scrum that should in fact have been a Scottish scrum. Visser caught the high ball and was then held up in the tackle but when it's from a kick the referee should award the scrum to the catcher's team. Big mistake by the referee but fortunately it didn't cost Scotland the match. Bad enough that players (English ) don't know the laws of the game but referees should.

Just another interpretation thing I think. Visser takes it, spins, takes steps, makes ground while the tackle is happening. I'd probably agree with you, looks like he was tackled straight from the kick but there's wiggle room to suggest he caught it, brought it back to contact and then gets tackled in which case it's just your typical choke tackle scrum.

Its not an interpretation thing, its a straight up they got the law wrong thing. He is the kick receiver, the maul goes to the defending team.

Btw, its Liam Williams, not Lee Williams.
