7 - 0 to the Tigers after a try by Alesana Tuilagi and a conversion by Toby Flood, 6mins gone.

Edit:

7 - 3 to the Tigers, Penalty kick by Charlie Hodgson

Try by Neil Briggs and Hodgson converts, 25 - 20 to Sale now, 50mins gone

Absolutely shocking work from the touch judge to send off Julian White.

1. White slaughters Sheridan in the scrum
2. Leicester get a penalty against Sheridan
3. Sheridan uppercuts White
4. Sheridan jabs White to the face
5. White palms Sheridan to the face
6. Sheridan loses his footing and falls over.

White is sent off for punching Sheridan in the face and to the ground. Crap refereeing.

Dan Hipkiss scores for the Tigers and Flood misses the conversion, 25 all after 54mins

Full-time score , Leicester Tigers 37-31 Sale Sharks, what a game of rugby!

Good fun. Murphy impressive as captain.

Was Hipkiss in the 6N squad?

Had to watch the last ten mins with the sound down because the women wanted the young uns to do their weekly piano recital in the living room. Fairly good version of Scarborough Fair, but the applause was overdone. Bit like the premiership, really.

Just saw the video, don't even think it was a yellow to be honest "I had to defend myself' comes to mind.

However I think it was more than a palm to the face.

Best bit was the look on Murphy's face. Thought it was a yellow and then the RED comes out and the look on his face. Priceless.

Anyone who wants to see it:

is there a harder puncher playing in the top flight than old big nose? Sheridan let himself down big-time reacting to the crowd like that. Embarrassed perhaps?

Oh, in other news, disciplinary committee thought it was no biggy. Two week ban.

Bu all rights, both should have gone in that case - Andy Cantprop was the first one to raise his arms before doing his best Cristiano Ronaldo impression.
