Leicester v London Irish

Irish going for the posts (again) from 50m out. This being the "top try scoring and most expansive team in the league" according to Mr. S. Barnes.

Anyway, Armatidge scores. It's 10-9 to Leicester now...

Tigs inches away from a 2nd score...

And Irish win a penalty! Irish lineout on halfway...

2 mins to go.

Final Score;

The Exiles were not clinical enough, like last week but this time it was against Leicester... I guess it's deserved as they wins the league too.

Hipkiss was really good, hope to see him with England next season. And now Dupuy and Kayser have won both of the french and english league... if I'm right the only one who made that before was Valentin Courrent. (Sale/Toulouse)

(edit: maybe there was Rob Andrew too as he played one season with Toulouse during their era)

Geordan Murphy gets a finger in the eye from Armatidge. - Usual O'Irish tactics in keeping with this season.[/b]

All that incident needed was tonnes of sky slow motion replays and he would be on his way to a twelve week ban, only one problem is Armitage isn't taking a Lions place away from an average over hyped English man.

well today proved that Armitage doesn't have the defence to play at centre for the Lions and his goalkicking isn't needed given we've got Halfpenny.

Ah, now it all makes sense! Croft was actually the one to put his hands all over Leo Cullen's face, framing Quinlan so he could be banned and he could steal his place. What a dastardly plot from the evil English.

:rolleyes:
