Indeed it is! For no other reason than it's a nice looking brigantine :)

Never been on the Soren Larsen, just sailed past it on a catamaran, in Vavau IIRC.

It came to Nelson when I was a teenager. It was open to the public and my Dad took me on board. She has quite a history; was used quite a lot in British TV series The Onedin Line (but not the one you see in the credits - that is the Christian Radich, a three-masted full-rigger).

You know the Soren it wasn't always a Brigantine? When it visited Nelson in the late 1960's (before it was severely damaged by fire) it was a ketch-rigged Galeas, but when it was refitted around 1980 it was re-rigged as a Brigantine.

She sure is a beautiful tall ship.

That would be an organization called "Square Sail Britain". They no longer exist, but much or their records and archives ended up with "Square Sail Ventures" at Charlestown Harbour in Cornwall.
