Mate you're on the money there... we don't see our Lions for like 18 months after a 'tour'. I could actually get behind a 'Scotland-esque' selection for Wales (obvs not gonna happen) and see our boys continue their steady progression towards 2023.

Yeah. We can only hope. It's of course very selfish because the players themselves seem to relish being a lion. Wouldn't begrudge anyone getting a selection but hope we keep the Welsh contingent low

Yeah I get exactly where you're coming from but it ain't gonna happen anyways... also, with how much it means to the boys (as you've mentioned) I'd ideally rather they get what they earned when all is said and done.

Still, I could definitely see the positive in a scant selection from us Welsh.
