Sharks centre-cum-wing Luzuko Vulindlu had been released to join French Pro D2 side Auch, it was confirmed today.

The 23-year-old three-quarter has had zero game time with the Sharks in 2011 after emerging as a shining light back in 2009, where he won a number of Super 14 caps. He also went on to play for the Emerging Springboks against the Lions that year, but a combination of injuries and a loss of form saw him play only a bit part for the Sharks in the 2010 season, before falling out of the picture entirely.

We'd like to wish Zuks all the best for his French adventure and hope that the move revitalises his career. Bon voyage et bonne chance!

Well, even Riaan Swanepoel got picked over him for the center-pairing so I don't think he has a lot of credit. He is moving to the French D2, which is the 2nd level competition. If he was good enough for a starting place in the Sharks XV, he would have moved to the Pro12 or TOP14
