Ma'a Nonu best Super Rugby season

it's kinda funny, I think for a long time people argued (myself included at times) that Conrad Smith was only good because he basically only ever played outside Nonu & Umaga.

there is no polite way to say it but Nonu was **** when he was at the blues or highlanders. I think he needs conrad more than conrad need him.

Also whenever SBW comes back to town he plays out of his skin.

I can't remember all of those seasons to exactly pin one out as Nonu's best. I feel that Nonu has had better seasons than this one but I couldn't say for sure. Most Super Rugby seasons merge into one for me.

This would have to be his best of at least the last 5 seasons or so, can't remember back beyond that.

Surely done enough to retain the 12 jersey at the start of the year test calendar.

This season has definitely been Nonu's best but that being said, when a team's performing so well everything clicks into place a lot better. He still does stupid dumb **** on the odd occasion but that's what you get when you have Nonu.
