Jonah Jones Rugby 7s 2010 - 25 & 26 September 2010
Malaysia's longest running rugby party is back and promises to be a great weekend. The Jonah Jones Rugby 7s 2010 will be held at Royal Selangor Club Bukit Kiara on 25 & 26 September from 8am to 7pm.
There's fun for everyone, including foodstalls and bouncy castles, on top of non-stop rugby. Put on your funkiets hats and shades, and bring the family down for some fun in the sun and the Jonah Jones Rugby 7s on 25 & 26 September at RSC Bukit Kiara. Admission is free.
Malaysia is home to one of the oldest sevens tournament in Asia, the Jonah Jones Rugby Sevens Tournament which has been hosted by the Royal Selangor Club since 1963. -http://www.rugbyinasia.com/malaysia/index.php
RSC Dingoes (red & blue shirt) vs Guinness Lioness
In the second half, Singapore started brightly and Amanda Teo put the republic ahead taking the score to 7-0. Hong Kong wised up by releasing their sprint queen Aggie Poon on the wing and Singapore's rush defence worked against them with Poon putting in two tries in quick succession bringing the score to 10-7.
The Lioness's showed they were made of sterner stuff and came back with a try through Derelyn Chua. Eunice Tay's conversion shaved the posts bringing the game to extra time. Singapore kicked off the extra time and there was no denying that it was all-Poon by this time as she scored her hat-trick of the match.- http://sruwomens.blogspot.com/2010/10/singapore-cup-runners-up-at-jonah-jones.html
