Manu Samoa campaign sabotaged from within

Such respect for Schwalger, the Manu Samoa are an awe-inspiring team on their day and to see that they've been screwed over so badly by their management is infuriating.

sad to see this went down. This was a home WC for Samoa as well in many ways and their time to shine. But for any team to shine and get results they need to focus 100% performing their best on the field. That obviously didn't happen and it was the people that should have been setting the example that were to blame. Mo is a class act - he deserved better support.

...seriously?
Yeah, sorry I was at work and couldn't really read it all. Anyway, I could only come back to it two days later...

The team managers were useless. They didn't do their jobs properly and blamed each other when something didn't get done, and no one was held accountable as a result. These team managers were drinking every day at the pub and some were even playing golf throughout the tournament. They treated it like a holiday.

The players felt this was a massive distraction and ruined their world cup. However, they feel the coaches did great and want to make sure their praise is heard.

Lastly, they are suspicious that the team's money was being used to fund their daily binge drinking sessions, and to pay for better hotel rooms for the managers who weren't even doing their job.
Thanks for that. Well, Samoa is progressing fast, and one could only think they could be doing it even faster if it wasn't for this sort of things.
