Blame it on Robbie Deans for letting him continue to kick. They have other players who are more than capable.

Matt Giteau is a brilliant rugby player and as for his kicking, he is going through a slump, who doesn't. He had by far the best goal kicking percentage in this years Super 14!
Even higher than Morne Steyn and Carter!

You really are an arse. Matt Giteau is one of the best goal-kickers in the game, he is just out of form. If Dan Carter missed a few kicks at goal would you say he sucks as well? If I am honest I'd have James O'Connor kicking the goals for Australia, but then again that is an awful lot of pressure to put on the teenager.

I'm not a Wallaby fan but Giteau is a player with a lot of qualities. I don't know if he would be guaranteed a place in the starting line-up of the All Blacks or the Springboks but he definitely doesn't suck.

They are two completely different players. But yes, as an overall rugby player I believe he offers more to a team than Jean de Villiers - don't get me wrong de Villiers is an awesome player, just IMO Giteau has more to offer.
