In 124 years of the 4 nations/5 nations/6 nations
Wales have now won it the most , 39 ***le wins (12 of them shared) England second with 38
England have won 13 grand slams , Wales 12, France 9, Ireland and Scotland 3 each

England still have more outright wins at 28 to Wales' 27. England have the most grand slams 13 to 12, England have the most Triple Crowns 25 to 21.

Don't know what your really bragging about, or why this needed a thread.

Ireland GS ratio is shocking 21.5% to Wales & Englands 44.4%. Scotland actually has a similar GS rate to Ireland. France actually are the best of achiving them when they win.

TBF once upon a time that use to be true for everyone.
Not in the early 2000s like it was for us!

Ireland have only been good in the late 40s, early 70s, early 80s and the last 15 or so years.

Bizarrely, prior to professionalism Ireland thought a triple crown was a better achievement than a grand slam or championship. They just didn't care about France.

Since then, O'Sullivan bottled two grand slams in 06 and 07, Kidney's incompetence threw away a great opportunity in 2011 and they haven't been easy to come by under Schmidt as a win in Twickenham and Paris, or Cardiff was required when England and Wales have been strong.

Ireland have won all their five nations games and not won a slam! In 1972 they won in Paris and London but in shitey fashion typical of the unions, the WRU and SRU refused to travel to Dublin!

We use have a similar problem having to travel Paris or Cardiff. Now its less pf a trouble but it means one year we can have an exceptionally tough fixture list like this one having to travel to Dublin and Cardiff and the following having to go to Paris which is still no easy fixture or Edinburgh (becoming far less easy). Plus their the fact teams do seam to raise their game against us (I've lost track the amount times a team look rough against another ***le contender and they play brilliantly against us). Its interesting to note Ireland and England in 6 nations era are the only teams to come 2nd on PD at three times a piece.

Wales deserve some credit on this front they've twice out of their five 6 nations wins got it on years they've traveled to Dublin & London which were also GS years.

I mentioned englands grand slams and their 38 ***les..yes 28 outright against wales 27 outright ***les..england and wales combined is 77 ***les in 122 years (and a few years off for the wars) together they have won twice as many ***les as the rest of the countries put together. Wales 39th ***le makes them the biggest winners in history, 1 ahead of england atm, I think that was well worth mentioning and celebrating. when man utd passed liverpools 19 ***les how many people mentioned it? the whole world
No doubt the pendulum will keep swinging back and forth in the worlds greatest annual tournament
