Munster Magners Champions

Well congrats to Munster, they've been by far the best side in the league, that's halfway towards the double now.

Testament more to the fringe players than the first team as they've more than stepped up to the mark when the internationals have been away with Ireland none moreso than in the All Blacks match which would have been a huge shot in the arm that they could go on and get the wins in places like the Liberty Stadium, Parc y scarlets and Firhill.

and sure the first team did their bit in doing the double over a quality Leinster outfit!

Munster aren't meant to take the Magners seriously, but then if you cruise through the HC like they seem to, why not win the Magners aswell! Trully the best club team in the world, congrats, even if it's with a hint of jelousy

Look at points for and against in the table - fairly close among the top four. Good league, but Munster have the game plan X factor.

Comparison between Munster and Leinster is close. Suggests the HEC semi will be veeery cagey. Although adding up the difference means it has to be M by 27!

Its a testament to how good the league really is

Bastids!

Cant argue with the two wins over leinster so far though. Closer than the screline suggested but convincing enough all the same.

And just to clarify, McGahan said at the start of the year that they wanted to win it. They always took the league seriously this year. As did pretty much every team except maybe the Blues.

A good league, getting better. Looking forward to the two team expansion in two years.

Scant consolation for them when the European trophy is won by Cardiff in the final.

Only for me to wake up.

Munster thoroughly deserve the ***le. Congratulations to Tony McGahan's team. They've really upped their game this season.
