Right? It's astounding how he manages to be one-eyed in matches that he's supposedly neutral!

He's not one-eyed, just useless. Most Welsh fans don't rate him as a commentator.
 
So shall we talk about the rugby match at all? I could hook up a live stream of some paint drying if you guys are interested.
 
Is there any rule regarding when a tackle becomes a maul? Or is it just when the ref feels like calling it?

  1. A maul can take place only in the field of play.
  2. It consists of a ball-carrier and at least one player from each team, bound together and on their feet.
  3. Once formed, a maul must move towards a goal line.
That's from world rugby, so tbh anytime the player is on his feet and there is an extra player from each side it's a maul. However it does seem to be very subjective depending on the ref.
 
Also according to Eddie Butler it's France vs Italy and there are two kiwi's on the pitch.
