Thing's are getting a bit nasty for Bush...

what are they gonna do, he's rakin in millions right now... strip him of his diploma, and heisman?

i mean i am assure he would care so much about those

Well he left early...he never got his diploma. And they can't take his heisman away simply because well this isn't the first time this has happened and he isn't the only one doing it. This isn't some anomoly, at every major school there is at least one player taking in some type of money or benefits they shouldn't. Whether the program knows about it or not. Quite frankly Bush was just stupid enough to get caught.

Take the heisman and give it to leinart. Then there would be two back to back heisman winners. Only leinart won't go bust in the nfl.

ohh low blow, and just for the record.. if they did give it to leinart, he still wouldnt be the second back to back because there would be a little thing called an asterisk next to his accomplishment

Wouldn't they give it to Young for finishing 2nd?

Or maybe Brady Quinn.

Everyone loves little Brady... even AJ Hawk.

Just like barry has one next to his....?
[/b]

Now that's funny. I love it how Giants fans will defend Barry. "Hey dude, look at his rookie pictures and look at him now. You be the judge."

Yea just listen to the guys on sports center when it comes to brady quinn, they fondel all over him all show long about how great he and notre dame are, its quite annoying.

I know i have a baseball card from his 3rd or 4th year it says he's 185pounds. You make the call on whether he juiced or not.

They give more credit to OSU then they do ND and anyway they are less biased than you are...

your full of ****

ND gets much more than osu

theyve had stories regarding charlie wise, jeff smardiezja, brady quinn, today they had an inside look into their practice

ohio state has barely any if 1 story about them on sportscenter

ND is the media's little darling

and also as of right now i am not high as a kite on the way ohio state is playing against cincinnati it appears cincy has been playing outta their skin for most of the first half, but the tide of momentum has shifted heading into the half, look for ohio state to win by a 35-7 or 42-14 score

man this espn plus crew sucks and those half time analysts were **** too. Who employs these people?

i was watching osu/cinci and VT/duke.

Man VT has amazing special teams. It seems every year they are the best at it and this year seems no different. The VT runningback looks pretty good. Look for them to contend next year. This team is young and pretty damn good.

Cinci played some amazing defence up until the 4th quarter when everything just started to unravel. It's kind of surprising because i don't feel cinci had the speed to keep up with osu and yet still kept it close until they just ran out of steam. This might have just been a let down after beating the number 2 team last week, but if there is an indication that this team can be stopped or at least slowed down that is a definite cause for concern.

Up next LSU/Auburn(booore fest), Mich vs ND, Oklahoma vs Oregon and the U vs louisville.

I'll be switching between Okla/Ore and The U/UL

meh, the slept walked through most of this game, i feel it was because they were looking foreward to Penn State next week. They played good D up until about the 3rd, mid 3rd then they just fell apart. It just seemed like OSU was overlooking Cincy but hey, this game shows that OSU's D is actually quite good compared to what people felt it would be... the only scoring drive was the second possession of the game.

I don't think this shows anything about their defence. It was cinci here not USC. It's expected to let in very few points against a team like this. Before this game they were ranked 70th in the nation in yards per game. They still really need to prove themselves.

and they held texas to 7 points

yards and points are also two very different things
[/b]

But when you play a team with a real Qb and will seal the deal, you can't have your defence letting teams going up and down the field on you. If it weren't for a few breaks in OSU territory that game would have been a 10 or fewer point game.

USC 28, Nebraska 10

This was really a dominating performance by SC without them ever playing very well. And that's not a knock on Nebraska but the sheer fact that this SC team is legit. Nebraska is a tough, physical defence. It's probably going to be the best SC will face until they play oregon. However SC could have had their way with this defence if their offence was clicking on a consistent basis. Dwayne Jarret is unstoppable. He had 11 receptions for 136yard and 2 TD's. he could easily have gotten 200+ yards. It's not what the defence holds him to but what he holds himself too. There isn't a guy in the NCAA as dominant as Jarret. John David Booty played better than i thought i would or could. Yes the offence struggled at times but his vision and arm strength was there. That's what really surprised me, was how well he threw the ball. When i heard a year or so ago that he was one of the top nfl prospects i scoffed at it. No more of that, this guy is going in the first round for sure. I'll go out on a limb and say top 15 and depending how the season goes he could crack the top 10. It's kinda freaky how similar CJ Gabel looks to reggie bush. His body shape, style of running. It's almost identical. Only i'm not sure he's ever going to be the talent or even remotely close to the talent of bush but he looks eerily similar. Also he's wearing number 25. What number is bush wearing in the NFL? number 25...All the talk about gabel, it was the other true freshman Moody that impressed more. Damn he looked pretty solid out there at times. Signs of the future for sure. Quick question though: Are there two number 10's playing for SC? I was sure i saw one on def and booty was wearing the other...One other thing to note this was the 54th consecutive game SC has scored 20 points or more, an NCAA record.

And DC what's with your boy Kirk Herbstreet having Michigan being 3rd on his rankings. What type of buckeye is he?!?!?!?

I couldn't tell ya, he's usually, at least in past years, been biased to ohio state and michigan in those categories. But i noticed in texas that he seems like he's be come less into ohio state, i believe he even picked texas to beat them! If this keeps up he may become a traitor, he should embrace his roots not try to conceal them.

Either that or ESPN told him to keep his bias down for ohio state and against the teams they play.

I loved how during the texas game how biased the reporters were against ohio state with that stupid Colt Mccoy kid... At one point in the broadcast Brent Musburger said, "Colt Mccoy what an wonderful, wonderful, name for a texas quarterback." I thought that Brent especially was biased with how much he talked about "Young Colt" who by the end of the game the entire crew, Corso included, wanted to railroad him out of town!
