Just saw the new USA Jersey online. It looks great and I heard the deal was worth 7 figures to USA Rugby so that's a serious development for the game. It's exactly the same as all Canterbury products but looks a damn sight better than the Ireland, Scotland and Australia shirts. Here's another pic (the USA shirt is 4th from the right):

The USA have signed a contract with Canterbury!

Yeah, it looks good. However, I too thought the Kooga Shirt with the Tiger Stripes (or whatever) was the new one.

i think this and the south africa top are one of the few that make that design look smart.
i dont like the white bits on the scotland top at all

if only canada could get some new jerseys. im pretty sure they've had the same pro fit ones from barbarian for a couple of years now. it'd be pretty cool if they got one from kooga. the canterbury ones are innovative and stylish but everyone has them and you can't really decorate it other then with a sponsor logo =\

Does anyone else find it quite bizarre that Kooga have released a jersey saying its the america one when we know that it isn't!

Yeah it's strange, maybe someone should contact Kooga and ask for more information.

Maybe The states asked for the 2 companies to come up with a jersey and Canterbury won the compition.

I think it's a nice kit and lets hope that it's a step forward to the US taking more pride in their rugby and a serious approach. So many good athletes in the US and Canada that it's only a matter of time before our countries improve on the world stage.

But I still think that all rugby teams should go back to the old school style of jerseys with the folding collars. Too many Rugby kits these days look too much like bloody soccer jerseys, I hate wearing my Ireland and Scotland Canterbury kits and having random people tell me "Hey nice Soccer Jersey!".

Random Note regarding the jerseys; The USA Shirts are made of a different fabric (Everest) while the major Canterbury nations (South Africa, Australia etc.) have their shirts made out of the stronger Temex Cotton. Oh, and Canada are getting new shirts this year.

pretty excited for the new canada jerseys. if they're nice i'll probably buy one as soon as they're out. i guess the pro - fit has just lost its touch after every high school team in the area has a pro fit jersey. hell my high school jersey looks pretty similar to the national team.
