The nucleus of this squad plays well as a team and has the class required to continue winning at this level,†Bracewell said.</p><p></p><p>New Zealand, who enjoy a No 2 ranking in the world one-day rankings, have left no stone unturned in their preparation for the tournament which has a vital game against Australia as a possible impediment to its advance to the semi-finals.</p><p></p><p>“We are positive about going into the championship as the number two ODI side in the world but understand that we have a tough task ahead if we are to beat the number one ranked side, Australia, in our second match.â€</p><p></p><p>“We have organised a good build up for the tournament and should be well prepared for the tournament matches,†Bracewell said.</p><p></p><p>The Black Caps leave for England on August 29 and will be based at Taunton in Somerset until September 5, where they will play one-day matches against Somerset and a Somerset/Gloucestershire combined XI.
