New Zealand tour of Australia

Definitely looks like it's all over with New Zealand, made some sort of recovery, but Cairns has just got out. 156-7

All over, Australia win by 17 runs, fantastic comeback from New Zealand, massive hitting from Mills, 4 consecutive sixes.

All to play for at the Gabba.

Oh how that mccullum decesion cost us

all out for 244, Mills superb with 44 and 4 sixes in a row - should open for us !

all comes down to brisbane, exciting stuff

Some effort for Harris to bat with a dislocated shoulder, just added to the whole excitement of the finish.

Could somebody tell me who the bunch of random Kiwis in the brown shirts are? They cut to them like every five minutes. It really ****** me off after a while.

Take it easy Wally they can't be as annoying as the Barmy Army.
Do you get coverage from the channel 9 team or do you have someone else? And you're right, defiantely not as annoying as the barmy army.

Nah we've got the Channel 9 coverage on Sky Sports, occasionally interrupted with annoying updates from England's tour match in SA.

Their the Beige Brigade NZ's version of the Barmy Army sort of without the stupidy

Ended up being a close game in the end (I went to bed once Cairns was caught).

NZl was always chasing that game after an excellent partnership between Hogg and Lehman. We were also fortunite that the Aussies missed numerous runout opportunities.

The umpiring needs sorting out though. McCallum (apparently this was a horrific decision)and Styris were unfairly sawn off at the knees (second time for Kuertson who also gave Ponting unfairly out in game one), once again Haden was out plum LBW very early in his innings (and not given), and Oram should have been given the benefit of the doubt with the LBW when you could clearly see all three stumps (barely clipping off stump at very best).

If those sort of errors are not made for game three it should be a ripper.

I got home when we needed 20 from 20, and damn that was exciting.

That was probably the first time I was really disappointed with a cricket game result (before I didn't care too much).

When's the next game?

Why? they know they're kiwis so they cut to them, where as it may be harder to find kiwis elsewhere in the crowd

Not to mention being down to 10 men, cut back our bowling options and limited batting... middle orders fault i guess, danny and mills played very well

I went to the game - which was my first ODI

i am scarred for life - i had the best experience ever

it beats any musical festival or any massive drinking session

i lost my voice after the first 30 overs

The Beige brigade were given heaps

Beer snakes everywhere
My beer tray snake was 4ft tall, then the bloody smurfs (cops) took it from me

whenever a hot chick was walking the concourse - whistles started blowing and all the men pointing her out, for everyone to see

Mcgrath had his name spelt 'Mcgarth' on his shirt, so he was copping heaps to.

Then the mexican wave - by far the biggest i have ever seen - debris was getting tossed everywhere - was like a riot

Then there was the cops again - "WHATS THE COLOUR OF A 2 CENT COIN - COPPER, COPPER!!!" - towards the end of the night they got out of control, and started ejecting anyone that slurred them - what crime is verbal abuse???

The only time the cops were appreciated was when they ejected a kiwi, and cheers roared when this one foul kiwi couldnt take it anymore and crossed the line, and was booted too

Then u have the beach balls - plenty of them - and the blokes in yellow (stadium security) would always take our fun away - so one of them opped "You are a ******" chant from a good 10,000 people pointing their fingers right at him, for the whole concourse to see - he was hell bent on spoiling our fun, he chased a ball on the field to kill, only to find Gillespi pick it up before he got it, and toss it back into the crowd

Then u have the underage drinkers sitting next to us, asking for beers all day - in the end ****** as a fart i gave one to this little gromit, and said"u can only have it if u scull it"................he sculled it no probs, and was cheered from the whole bay

By the time we mentioned the word copper too many times and hurled empty water bottle at the smurf gang, a tap on the shoulder from the 'general' saying "u have had enough mate, time to leave"
what crime am i committing sir - having more fun than you

he snapped, and grabbed my mate, whom threw another projectile and the smurfs, grabbed me and said ur both out..i said "i dont pay u to kick me out"................i escorted myself, however my mate was hesitant and was thrown into the cop shed out the back, to exit peacefully - they have this special room for people having tooo much fun, in which u enter and leave out the back, so ur not in public having more fun - basically a quick way of getting out of the stadium where u cant harm anyone else

in that room was a 14yr old whom was plastered, past out and ******
also was a good 10-20 other cops in overalls, whom all where lying down, drinking water, and were completly buggered - all never wanted to be there and is clearly the ass end job of the cop force

sucked into them - they ruin our fun and we'll make it worse for them

GOD DAMN ODI FOREVER - THE GREATEST SPORTS SPECTICAL U CAN EVER GO AND SEE, IT AINT WHAT U SEE, ITS WHAT U DO!

You missed the best part, when we needed like 60 mills hit 4 sixes in a row... great stuff
