Had a conversation with a mate from my rugby team today which prompted me to start this topic!
So, what is your favoured way/ways to beat a guy one on one ? Why and how do you do it etc.
For me its the step, I usually try to fix him on the spot and then accelerate past, or arc my run towards the sideline to make him come after me then cut back in. For me it's just cause I'm smaller than most of the other players so avoiding the contact is the best way to beat a guy for me.
Otherwise the chip and chase is a good way to go if the situation calls for it !
