With 2 months left until the tournament begins, anyone who picks up a serious injury now is almost certain to miss the tournament. If you hear of an injury on a week to week basis of a World Cup hopeful or certainty, please put it in this thread.

So far, that I am aware of:

Sam Burgess (England, would have been a certainty)
Clinton Toopi (New Zealand, would also have been a certainty)

Toopi isn't a crippling loss, imho. But if the Kiwis play anything like they did in the last tri-nations then I won't be able to watch. The off field stuff looks bad at the moment too.

then again, maybe they'll do what England did in the union RWC, come right against the odds at the right moment.

maybe a very slim outside chance. he seems to have dropped a long way down the pecking order since he moved over to the superleague. with kearney becoming the new coach of the kiwis just a few months ago perhaps he may get another chance in the future maybe.

I think he's garbage personally but it's all immaterial anyway now!
