Parking near Twickenham for OAP

Apologies if this subject has been posted before but I'm taking my 80 year old mother to watch England V Wales in August.

Getting the train will be a complete pain so looking to park nearby.
Can anyone recommend a car park nearby that we could park up and have a picnic, then take a short stroll to the game.

Looks like you'll have to do park and ride from Hounslow Civic Centre. £20 for a car to park there then hop on a bus to Twickenham stadium. Lots of parking restrictions on match day.

Don't know about a good place to have a picnic. Murray Park looks the closest park to Twickenham on the way, but whether you want to get off the bus to go there. But you'd then probably need to get on another bus to get to the stadium.

Hi England v Wales 26th Feb'22
Just a heads up about decent parking only 10 mins walk to Twickenham Stadium. This is offered by Cole Park Allotments at £20/car. Gates on Twickenham Road open 3 hrs before kick off - be there then to be assured of a space.
